Summer Camps Bring the Energy

Come rain or shine, this year’s Summer Holiday Activity Camps proved as popular as ever, with young people turning out in big numbers over the four week period across July and August.

Running across three Birmingham locations throughout – including Archbishop Ilsley and Holyhead School, the camps offered a vibrant mix of sports, creative activities, and life-skills workshops designed to engage and inspire.

There truly was something for everyone. From sports sessions to workshops, each day was filled with opportunities to learn, connect, and have fun. StreetDoctors Birmingham ran powerful and informative sessions to equip young people with the knowledge and confidence to keep themselves and others safe. StreetGames Hakuna Fruitata brought a delicious twist with interactive healthy eating and cooking workshops, promoting positive food choices in a fun and accessible way. T Roadz had participants engaged with lively music workshops, giving them space to express themselves through creativity, music and lyrics.

It was all made possible free of charge through the Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) programme, ensuring young people could enjoy nutritious meals and enriching activities in a safe, supportive environment throughout the school holidays.

We’re proud to continue supporting Birmingham’s youth with opportunities that promote wellbeing, creativity, and community connection!
