Location:
thestudio
When:
February 26, 2024 9:15 am - 3:15 pm

Sharing learning and best practice from place partners that use sport and physical activity as a tool to promote positive mental wellbeing.

Over the past 3 years Sport Birmingham have been working in partnership with Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health Trust (Referral Partner) and Newman University (Evaluation Partner) on Moving Lives Healthy Minds, a project, funded by Comic Relief, that uses Sport and Physical Activity as part of the social recovery for individuals with severe and enduring ill mental health.

The conference will bring together key learnings and best practice from both this project and others across the Region, that demonstrate the value of cross sector collaboration and partnerships in promoting positive mental wellbeing for the individuals they support.

The day will be a mix of key note speakers and workshops, which delegates will be able to select throughout the event registration.

Hot lunch provided on the day, suitable for all dietary requirements.

Workshops will be delivered by Aston Villa Foundation, Living Well Consortium, Places Leisure, Sported, Newman University, The Active Wellbeing Society and Solihull Active Minds.
