About Moto in the Community

The Moto in The Community Trust looks to develop community partnerships around our network of Moto Service Areas. You can find out about the Moto locations by clicking here.

Developing a relationship with your Moto site will involve visiting the Site Operations Manager and Charity Champion, committing to keeping in touch with news of your charity and offering support to your Moto site during their busy on site fundraising events. In return your organisation can benefit from funding through our Community Grant Scheme and the opportunity to profile your organisation at your Moto Service Area. This will include one collection day per year at your local Moto Service Area should you be successfully adopted as a community partner.

What size grants do you make?

In order to assist as many organisations as possible the average grant given through the funding process is £1,000. Depending on the strength of an application and demonstration of commitment by both the Moto site and Partner, larger grants maybe agreed.

The Trustees encourage applications within the following remit;

  • You are a charity or community school within a 15 mile radius of a Moto site (The nearest Moto locations to Leicestershire are Donington Park (M1) and Rugby (M6).
  • You have opportunities for Moto staff to be involved with your group/school
  • You are happy to support your Moto site with their fundraising events
