Sport Birmingham’s business partnership with Ninja Warrior Walsall continues to go from strength to strength. The Make A Difference Programme (the youth arm of Sport Birmingham) had the privilege of supporting over 160 young people to access the facilities at Ninja Warrior Walsall.
Thanks to the generosity of Ninja Warrior Walsall, young people from Handsworth were able to enjoy two days of free fun at the fitness and activity adventure park inspired by ITV’s hit TV show. The opportunity was cherished by the young people, many of whom have limited opportunities to access days out and this type of special activity environment.

“It’s great to welcome Sport Birmingham and the MAD project to our facility, we have a great partnership so far and look forward to the future. One of our goals is to keep young kids active in the community, and working alongside sport Birmingham allows us to do things like this and welcome people to our venue, and here with the MAD team in a slightly different way have some fun and put some smiles on some faces.“
Jay who is part of the M.A.D. youth engagement team has been involved in delivering the HAF programme at Holyhead School in Handsworth this summer. He was delighted that the young people have been able to access this opportunity.
“It’s been amazing…a lot of the kids from the geographical area that we’re from don’t really get that opportunity to walk out to these kind of places… it’s been totally amazing this past four weeks, and it’s been a great opportunity to top it off by being here, and we really appreciate it.“

“Absolutely privileged to be here to see the kids enjoying themselves. Trying where they may not have this facility. Jay and the whole MAD team are here to provide just that sense of wellbeing. I’ve got a sense of wellbeing myself to see the kids enjoying it.“
